Record 360 Live for Dynamics 365 — Privacy Policy

Record 360 Live is a developer tool for Dynamics 365 / Power Apps model-driven apps. This policy describes which data it accesses and how it is handled.

The extension does not collect, sell, share or transmit any data to the publisher or to third parties.
It has no analytics, telemetry, advertising or remote code.
All processing happens locally in your browser, on the Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environment you are signed in to.

Data accessed

When you open a record in a model-driven app, the extension reads, with your existing session and your own Dataverse privileges:

plug-in trace logs, plug-in registration steps, cloud flow definitions and flow run history of the table;
the definition of the form and the list of solutions and web resources, to trace the form scripts of the solutions you select, and the source of a web resource when one of its functions throws an error, to show the faulty line;
the requests the app sends to the Dataverse Web API when you save the record (operation type, column names, status), and the duration and errors of the form script handlers that you chose to trace.

This data is displayed in the browser side panel only. It is kept in memory and discarded when the page or the panel is closed.

Data stored

Extension storage (chrome.storage.local): your display options (time window, "Only my traces", last opened tab) and, per environment URL, the identifiers of the solutions whose form scripts you chose to trace.
Environment page storage (localStorage of the Dynamics 365 site, key record360live.scripts.v1): the names of the traced form script functions and of their web resources, grouped by table; removed as soon as no solution is selected.

No record data, credentials or tokens are stored.

Data modified

The extension changes nothing in Dataverse, except the environment setting "Enable logging to plug-in trace log", and only when you explicitly confirm it in the panel.

Network

The extension only calls the Dataverse Web API of the environment you are using, on the same origin as the page. Links to Power Automate are opened only when you click them.
